Change data capture runs on four engines, with snapshot-first defaults, then a bounded number of change passes.
Conversion Studio can run Change Data Capture on PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB. The UI labels that path zero-downtime. Defaults: snapshot first, slot name migratrix_cdc, change batch 500, poll every 1,000 ms, at most three change passes. Teardown-on-complete is off unless you enable it.
Snowflake migrations are one-time full loads; Oracle sources stream through LogMiner once your DBA enables supplemental logging. Studio CDC exists to shrink a migration window, then stop. A replica that keeps running is a separate capability, Replication, and only between SQL Server and Oracle today.
